Our Programs

Building Pathways to Economic Mobility and Independence
Our programs are designed with purpose. Each one is intentionally focused on investing in women to build skills, access capital, and create opportunities that lead to long-term financial stability.
Economic mobility is the path. Economic independence is the destination.
Economic mobility means having the opportunity to improve your financial situation over time. While there are many approaches to addressing this issue, our research and experience have shown that education, career advancement, and business ownership are among the most effective pathways for creating lasting economic progress.
Economic independence means having the ability to support yourself, make financial decisions, and build a stable future. Each of these pathways contributes to that outcome, and when women achieve economic independence, families and communities benefit.
As Lift Women’s Foundation continues to grow, so will our ecosystem of support. We are committed to expanding opportunities and investing in solutions that help more women move forward.
For many women, that path is not always accessible.
- Women still earn, on average, less than men across nearly every industry
- Women are more likely to take on caregiving responsibilities, impacting career advancement and income
- Women entrepreneurs receive significantly less access to capital than their male counterparts
- Access to education and career advancement opportunities can be limited by financial barriers
When women lack access to these opportunities, it affects not only their financial stability, but also their families and communities.
When women gain access to education, capital, and opportunity, the impact is powerful:
- Women reinvest a significant portion of their income back into their families and communities
- Women-owned businesses contribute to job creation and local economic growth
- Education increases lifetime earnings and long-term financial stability
- Financial independence leads to stronger families and more resilient communities
This is why we invest where it matters most.
Lift Women’s Foundation focuses on three key areas that create pathways to economic mobility and lead to economic independence:

Women Building Careers
Education creates opportunity.
Our scholarship programs support women who are advancing their education, gaining new skills, or pursuing career growth. Increasing access to education helps women improve earning potential, expand opportunities, and build long-term financial stability.

Women Building Businesses
Access to capital creates opportunity.
Our microloan program supports women entrepreneurs by providing access to funding, mentorship, and business support. When women have access to capital, they can start and grow businesses that create income, stability, and economic growth in their communities.

Women Building Communities
Collective action creates impact.
Through the Kindness Collective, individuals take small, meaningful actions that come together to support nonprofits serving women and families. These efforts strengthen communities and expand access to resources that support women on their path to economic mobility.
The Outcome: Economic Independence
Every program we offer is designed to move women forward.
By investing in education, entrepreneurship, and community support, Lift Women’s Foundation helps create pathways to economic mobility that lead to economic independence.
When women achieve economic independence, families are stronger, communities are stronger, and the economy is stronger.
