NEXT CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP
Our communities are full of untapped potential. Education helps unlock it.
Many women step away from education or career opportunities while raising families, caring for loved ones, or navigating unexpected life changes. When they are ready to pursue new opportunities, returning to school or training can feel financially out of reach.
The Next Chapter Scholarship was created to support women who are ready to take that next step — whether returning to the workforce, changing career paths, or gaining education to advance their careers and increase their income.
Lift Women’s Foundation believes that when women have access to education and opportunity, they strengthen not only their own futures, but also their families, workplaces, and communities.
Women We Aim to Support
The Next Chapter Scholarship is designed for women who are pursuing education as part of a new chapter in their career or professional journey.
This may include women who:
- Are returning to the workforce after time spent in caregiving roles
- Stepped away from education or employment due to family responsibilities or life circumstances
- Are pursuing education to transition into a new career path
- Want to advance in their current field through additional education
- Are seeking to increase their income and long-term economic stability
Women at any stage of adulthood (18 years or older) are encouraged to apply.
Eligible Education Programs
Eligible Education Programs
Scholarships may be used for education or training through accredited institutions, including:
- Trade or vocational programs
- Workforce certificate programs offered through accredited colleges or technical schools
- Associate’s degree programs
- Bachelor’s degree programs
Programs must support career transition, workforce participation, or career advancement.

Scholarship Award
Scholarships of up to $2,500 are awarded to support tuition and program costs. Scholarship amounts may vary based on program cost and available funding
Our preference is to pay scholarship funds directly to the educational institution. In certain circumstances, funds may be applied toward other education-related expenses such as technology or other educational support needs when appropriate. Funds cannot be used for living expenses or transportation.
Lift Women’s Foundation believes that personal investment plays an important role in achieving educational and career goals. For programs with total costs of $2,500 or less within a single year, the scholarship will cover up to 80% of the program cost.
Recipients may receive one scholarship per calendar year and may reapply for support for up to four years total.

A Next Chapter can begin at any time.

Why This Scholarship Matters
Opportunity exists where we invest. When women are given access to education and career opportunities, the impact extends far beyond one individual. Families gain stability, workplaces gain skilled employees, and communities grow stronger.
Many communities are full of untapped potential — women who are ready to work, lead, and contribute but need access to education or training to move forward. The Next Chapter Scholarship exists to help unlock that potential by investing in women who are ready to build the next chapter of their careers.
When we invest in women, we invest in stronger communities.
