About Lift Women’s Foundation
Lift Women’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization that invests in women by providing access to education, capital, and support. Our programs focus on women building businesses, building careers, and building stronger communities.
Lift focuses on women because when women gain access to education, economic opportunity, and support, the benefits extend beyond one individual. Women often reinvest in their families and communities, creating ripple effects that strengthen communities and expand opportunity for others.
Yes. Lift Women’s Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Programs
Lift Women’s Foundation currently offers programs that support:
Women entrepreneurs through microloans and business education.
Women pursuing education through scholarships.
Community support through Kindness Collective.
Eligibility varies by program, but in general our programs support women who are:
- Starting or growing a business
- Returning to school or pursuing education or training
- Changing careers or advancing in their current career
- Leading or supporting community initiatives

Scholarships
The Next Chapter Scholarship supports women who are pursuing education or training to start, change, or advance their careers. This scholarship is designed especially for women who may be returning to school after time away or entering a new career path.
What types of education programs are eligible?
Eligible programs include:
- Trade and vocational programs
- Workforce certificate programs
- Associate’s degree programs
- Bachelor’s degree programs
Programs must be offered through an accredited or state-approved educational institution.
Scholarships of up to $2,500 are awarded. Our preference is to pay scholarship funds directly to the educational institution.
Microloans
The microloan program provides access to capital for women who are starting or growing small businesses. Loan recipients may also receive business education and coaching support.
Yes. Many microloan participants have access to business education and coaching opportunities to help them grow and sustain their businesses.
Kindness Collective
Kindness Collective is a program that turns individual acts of kindness into collective impact. Acts of kindness submitted through the program help generate donations to nonprofit organizations that support women and families.
Acts of kindness may include volunteering, helping a neighbor, donating items, mentoring someone, supporting a nonprofit event, organizing a service project, or other acts that help individuals or communities.
Nonprofit organizations that directly support women or girls and are registered 501(c)(3) organizations may apply to collaborate through the Kindness Collective program.
Donations
Donations support Lift Women’s Foundation programs, including scholarships, microloans, business education, community programs, and operations that allow us to expand opportunity for women.
Yes. Lift Women’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Yes. Honor and memorial gifts are welcome and can be made through our donation page.
